That is terrible! I think of Timberwolf as so trustworthy. Hopefully its just a manufacturing glitch...but it makes me really think about putting premade dog food into my furkid's tummies!!
Thanks for posting this and let us know if there is more news.
These recalls are just becoming so consistent! Who knows what we will wake up to tomorrow. I am feeding Wysong, they haven't recalled....yet!
Chanel, didn't you say you fed Wellness?
I hope not too many dogs are affected by this. I really don't want natural pet foods to get a bad rap and then people go back to crappy food.
Your right. Wellness/ Wysong = brain fart. I was discussing switching to Wysong with my baby's breeder....
Great. Another recall. This is getting ridiculous!
This is why I am a raw feeder! I know whats in my dogs stomach's and no company can affect them with a 'recall.' These companies should feel more responsibility to the pets they feed!
These recalls are sure getting old. I am always just waiting for my dog food to get recalled....
Working for a pet retailer that sells Timberwolf I am happy to report that luckily none of our customers have reported any adverse effects from feeding the Ocean Blue or Dakota Bison. It is scary for us to hear the word recall after the devestating effects of the melamine scare. After testing the product Timberwolf claims that the food was deemed safe, I hope that they can uphold stringent quality control of their product as I have been a fan of their food. On one hand although the word recall is so scary I appreciate that they have taken action immedietly and pulled any suspicious food putting their name at risk, rather then keeping the food on the shelf despite reports of dogs being sick as I have seen other companies do.
